Privacy Policy

Last updated October 5, 2026
SBR Group uses information to operate its chapters, connect members, and support business referrals.
This policy explains what we collect, who can see it, and how to contact us about your information.

Members choose what information about themselves is made public through joinsbrgroup.com. “SBR Group,” “we,” and “us” mean SBRG, LLC. This policy covers our websites, mobile-friendly member portal, chapter activities, communications, and member-selected public information on joinsbrgroup.com. It applies to members, applicants, guests, substitutes, people identified in referrals, and other people who interact with us.

1 Information we collect and use
We receive information directly from you, including through website forms, phone calls, and email; from
members and chapter leadership; and through your use of our services. Depending on how you
participate, this includes:

  •  Contact and business information, such as your name, email, phone number, address, business name, website, category, and chapter preferences.

  • Account and membership records, including login information, applications, membership status, waiting-list requests, and payment or transaction records.

  • Chapter activity, including attendance and information about guests, referrals, and substitutes entered in the portal

  •  Communications and content, including questions, requests, newsletter preferences, profile information, and meeting photos or videos.

  • Technical information that our websites, cookies, or analytics may automatically collect, such as IP address, device and browser details, operating system, referring URLs, pages visited, and website interactions.

We use this information to administer memberships and chapter activities, arrange referrals and substitutions, process payments, maintain records, respond to requests, communicate about SBR Group services, and support the operation and improvement of our websites. We also use information to provide the public listings members select, send the optional newsletter, and share occasional meeting photos or videos as described below.

If you submit information about a guest, substitute, or referral contact, make sure you have permission or another appropriate basis to share it. Provide only information relevant to the introduction or SBR Group activity, and let the person know it is being shared with SBR Group.

2 Who can see information
Member portal. Information shared in the member portal is available to SBR Group members. The
portal includes information about guests, referrals, and substitutes, so it can contain information about
people who are not members. Members must follow our professional conduct and no-spam rules when
using this information.

Public information. Members choose which information is made publicly available through joinsbrgroup.com. Public information can be viewed, copied, or indexed by others. Contact the Front Office if you need help changing or removing information in a public listing we control; changes may not immediately remove copies held by search engines or other people.

v.2026.10.05 SBR Group Privacy Policy | 2
Chapter administration. Chapter leadership maintains attendance information. The Front Office and
Regional Trainers use information needed for their membership and administrative responsibilities,
including reviews of participation and member standing.

Outside organizations. We do not sell or rent our member list or distribute it to outside organizations for
their own use. We use service providers to help operate SBR Group, as described in Section 3.
Member-selected public listings, portal access, and meeting photos or videos are separate forms of
visibility described in this policy.

Legal and protective purposes. We may disclose information when required by law or legal process, or
when reasonably necessary to address fraud, enforce our terms, respond to claims, or protect the
rights, property, or safety of SBR Group or others.

3 Service providers and payments
SBR Group operates the member portal as a mobile-friendly website. Membership records are
maintained there and in our company Google Workspace. These services support our recordkeeping,
communication, and administration.

Payments are processed through Wix. Wix and the payment providers involved in a transaction handle
payment information under the terms and privacy notices applicable to that transaction. SBR Group
uses payment and transaction records for membership administration, accounting, and payment-related
questions.

Our providers receive or process information needed to deliver the services we use. Their own privacy
terms may also apply to their processing. For information about Wix, visit its privacy policy:
wix.com/about/privacy

4 Newsletters and service communications
Our monthly newsletter is optional. You may subscribe by opting in and unsubscribe using the link in
any newsletter or by contacting the Front Office.

Unsubscribing from the newsletter does not prevent necessary membership or service
communications, such as renewal notices, payment information, meeting updates, or responses to your
requests. Newsletter choices do not authorize unsolicited messages from other members, and SBR
Group’s no-spam rule continues to apply.

5 Meeting photos and videos
We may occasionally publish photos or videos from meetings or events on social media. These may
show participants or include their voices. Public posts can be viewed or shared by people outside SBR
Group.

If you have a concern about being photographed or recorded, tell the meeting organizer and contact the
Front Office. You may also request review or removal of a specific photo or video we control. We will
review the request, but we cannot control copies independently saved or shared by other people or
platforms.

Our websites may link to outside websites. Those sites and social media platforms have their own
privacy practices; review their privacy policies when using them. This policy covers SBR Group’s
handling of information; it does not govern how an independent platform or business uses information it
receives.

6 Cookies and website analytics
Our websites may use cookies and analytics to support website functions and understand usage.
Cookies are small files stored on your device. Depending on the tools enabled, technical information
may be processed by the website or analytics provider to understand visits and interactions.
You can manage or delete cookies through your browser settings. If a website offers cookie choices,
you can also use those controls. Blocking cookies may affect login or other website features. Contact
the Front Office for information about the tools currently in use or any applicable privacy choices.

7 Record retention and security
SBR Group maintains membership and chapter records, including records that may relate to former
members. Retention depends on the record’s purpose and our administrative, accounting, legal, and
dispute-related needs, subject to applicable law. Leaving SBR Group or unsubscribing from the
newsletter does not automatically delete those records. You may request deletion as described in
Section 8.

We seek to protect information in our member portal and company Google Workspace against
unauthorized access, use, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. No website or storage system can
guarantee complete security. Protect your login credentials and contact the Front Office if you suspect
unauthorized access or misuse of information.

8 Your choices and privacy requests
Contact the Front Office to ask about information we hold about you, request access or a copy, correct
inaccurate information, request deletion, or raise a concern about how information is used or made
visible. Depending on the laws that apply, you may also have rights to withdraw consent or opt out of
certain processing. We will handle requests in accordance with applicable law.

Describe your request and your relationship to SBR Group so we can identify the relevant records. We
may need to verify your identity or authority before disclosing or changing information. A request
involving another person may require that person’s authorization.

Some records may need to be retained when applicable law permits or requires it, including for
accounting, legal obligations, or disputes. If we cannot fulfill a request, we will explain why. You may
ask the Front Office to review that decision, including as an appeal where applicable law provides that
right. This policy does not limit any rights available under applicable law.

9 Young guests
Our digital services are intended for adults age 18 and older. The membership guide separately permits
limited meeting attendance by guests age 16 or 17 for a professional learning experience. That
attendance does not authorize a digital account. A parent or guardian may contact the Front Office
about information, photos, or videos involving a minor.

10 Changes and contact information
We may update this policy as our practices or services change. We will post the updated policy on our
website, revise the date above, and provide at least 30 days’ notice before significant changes take
effect, consistent with our Terms of Service. Where applicable law requires additional notice or consent,
we will follow those requirements.
