SBR Group Membership Guide and Terms of Service
Our purpose
SBR Group helps business owners and professionals build lasting, trusted relationships that lead to
meaningful referrals. Weekly chapter meetings give members time to learn about one another’s
businesses, recognize good opportunities, and grow confidence in the people they recommend.
Each member holds a protected business category within a chapter. That opportunity carries a shared
responsibility: stay involved, treat people professionally, and help the chapter succeed. These
expectations protect the time, investment, reputation, and referral opportunities of every member.
This guide explains how we work together, how membership is managed, and the terms for using SBR
Group services. “SBR Group,” “we,” and “us” mean Small Business Referral Group, LLC. “You” means
the member or user. By maintaining membership or using our Tools, you acknowledge and accept
these terms.
1 Member engagement
-
Strong referral relationships develop through regular contact. Members are expected to remain active,
-
respectful, and professionally engaged. Make participation part of your routine by:
-
Attending weekly meetings and arranging a substitute when you cannot attend.
-
Sharing qualified referrals and learning how to recognize opportunities for other members.
-
Scheduling Handshakes and Hellos outside weekly meetings to get to know members and their businesses.
-
Inviting guests and supporting the chapter’s long-term relationships.
Keep conversations professional at meetings, during Handshakes and Hellos, and in other member
interactions. Avoid profanity and sensitive topics, including politics and religion, that can create
discomfort, distraction, or conflict. All users must act lawfully, ethically, and responsibly, avoiding
discourteous, deceptive, misleading, offensive, indecent, or unethical conduct.
2 Respectful communication and no spam
Access to fellow members’ contact information carries a responsibility to respect their time. Spam is
strictly prohibited and results in immediate termination of your account.
Spam means using electronic messaging systems to send unsolicited messages, whether individually
or in bulk. This includes email, instant messages, SMS or MMS texts, fax transmissions, newsgroups,
search engines, forums, and blog or social media comments.
By using SBR Group Tools, you consent to electronic communications from SBR Group, Regional
Trainers, and members. This consent does not override the no-spam rule. To withdraw consent to
electronic notices, you must discontinue use of the Tools.
